The city is full of food and flavors. Over the years, many new restaurants have opened up in Chandigarh. But going out with family and friends, you only want the best for them. So, let’s get straight to the list of the Top 10 family restaurants in Chandigarh that are worth your time and money.
Barbeque Nation
Barbeque Nation is one of the most popular restaurant chains and has over 150 outlets all over the country. They gained popularity among the masses due to their unique concept of “over-the-table barbeque”. This allows the customers to grill their own barbeques.
It is the best family restaurant in Chandigarh to enjoy a buffet and taste different cuisines. Moreover, they have both vegetarian and non-vegetarian menus. The menu ranges from Continental and Indian to Chinese and, more.

This is my go-to place for dinner with my family. It does get a little crowdy during the weekend here, so it is better if you reserve a table beforehand. The ambiance is really welcoming, and the music in the background adds to its overall aura.
This place is extremely popular among the locals. They usually keep adding new dishes to their menu according to the season. The cuisine ranges from Mughalai to North Indian with a modernistic approach.
We ordered a number of dishes including their vodka gol gappa, breads, dal makhani, and a really delicious chicken gravy. Each dish was presented with great detail which only added to the experience of relishing each dish.
Moreover, they have great service and friendly staff, who are always ready to help you. Prices are attractive according to the portion size and quality. Based on the users’ feedback on Google, this spot reserved a rating of 4.5.

Absolute Barbecue
Chandigarh is popular for its Punjabi cuisine, not just among locals but among foreigners as well. It is one of the best barbecue buffet family restaurants in Chandigarh. The insides are spacious and clean with plenty of secure and safe parking.
The menu consists of an extensive range of BBQ cuisines designed to satisfy the customers. The buffet price starts at INR 850. Some of the most popular dishes in this restaurant are butter chicken, crispy corn, paneer tikka, seekh kebab, etc.
Absolute Barbecues is now open for takeaway as well. It is always better to pre-book your table before visiting this place. They have happy hours from 12 PM to 5 PM on certain days.

Lezzetli Fine Dine is one of the finest restaurants in Chandigarh, with a beautiful ambiance and amazing interiors. It is a multi-cuisine restaurant that provides a fine dining experience to its customers.
The average cost comes out to be INR 2000 for a family of four people. So, if you are looking for a place to have a family dinner, this will be the perfect choice.
Their menu offers Biriyani, Chinese, Continental, North Indian, etc. They also have an unlimited buffet which you can opt for if you want to. Most people like to go for the buffet option. Some of the popular dishes are Phirni, Fried Rice, Exotic Chicken Pizza, and Amritsari Mahi Tikka.
Their food quality, as well as the taste, is good and is cooked in a clean and hygienic kitchen. The staff members are polite and deliver great service.

If you want to enjoy breakfast or lunch with your family then this is the place where you need to go. This place is great for a light brunch and you try their delicious coffee as well.
The infrastructure is top-notch with a warm and cozy ambiance.
Chandigarh has 2 branches of Oven Fresh located in different sectors. This makes it convenient to visit this place from wherever you stay.
The food tastes delicious with a wide variety of Indian and Italian options. I must recommend you to try their Quesadillas, sandwiches, pizzas, and burgers. They have a ton of delicious desserts as well.
The only drawback I felt there was slow service which could be the result of rush hour. Nevertheless, a 10/10 experience all in all.

With a fine dining concept, Back to Source is located in Sector 17 just opposite the Taj Hotel. All the dishes here are made with ingredients that are sourced from local farmers. They practice the traditional way of slow cooking and steam frying ensuring dishes are full of flavors.
You can find different mals, breads & bakes, and beverages all prepared in-house from the freshest of ingredients. The food is absolutely some of the best I have ever had in Chandigarh.
personally, I loved the gulab human affogato dessert. The atmosphere is filled with live music which is equally great. I would strongly recommend everyone to try the grilled fish. Definitely a must-visit restaurant with your family in Chandigarh.
